"THE BLACK KNIGHT OF LESNING LANE" This is my latest
painting. It is a 21" x 28" acrylic on canvas, and
portrays the image evoked by a poem my husband wrote. (I'll
post it with his permission soon). A Black Knight challenges
as he rides towards the viewer through a bough-covered lane.
The light behind him reminds us that we need to face our
darkest challenges before we can enter the light. NFS |

The mural is complete and looks
stunning. Visit the web site to see what the finished
product looks like. You can click on each panel to see a
close up of every painting, order prints, and keep up to
date on what Lewis Lavoie is doing now. Interesting
stuff! These panels were sent to me with the colors and shapes
already on them, and it was up to me to paint an image
following those lines and colors. The top one is the
original panel #196, the second is the completed panel.
I've now started the second panel (third from the top),
panel #129. (click on the images to see the larger
versions).

"VICTORY BOW" This is a 22" x 28" acrylic on canvas, and
portrays the dressage rider at the end of a successful
routine, bowing to the judge. I chose the background
color for its warmth, and feeling of success in the
spotlight. The horse was gray to represent my own
sweet sport horse, who is three years old this July.
Of course, this is my dream for him about 5 years from now.
I love painting my dreams. More info on this painting
here. |
